Aston Martin’s 110th Anniversary

The legendary British luxury company Aston Martin 110th anniversary is being commemorated. The introduction of an exceptional special model is part of the yearlong celebration. Aston Martin’s founding partners Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford formally established their business on January 15, precisely 110 years ago. This event ushered in more than a century of passionate driving, a ground-breaking British invention, and a high-octane racing triumph. Aston Martin, which was inspired by its founders’ love of racing and was born on the racetrack, has grown from its modest beginnings in a small workshop on London’s Henniker Mews to become one of the most recognizable automotive brands in the world, known for its innovative design, exquisite craftsmanship, thrilling performance, and uncommon exclusivity.

The record-breaking 1923 Razor Blade racer, one of the brand’s first surviving racing vehicles, is shown next to the uncompromising Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar. The revolutionary Razor Blade set numerous class records at Brooklands in 1923, a year after Aston Martin made its Grand Prix debut with TT1, the car known as the “Green Pea.” It was one of the first vehicles specifically designed with aerodynamics in mind and was powered by an engine built to Aston Martin Grand Prix specifications. Aston Martin has been innovating ever since it was founded one hundred years ago. The era-defining Aston Martin Valkyrie introduced current Formula 1TM engineering to the roadways.

Aston Martin will debut a brand-new, highly restricted, unique vehicle later this year to commemorate the company’s historic 110th anniversary. As part of a worldwide marketing campaign dubbed “Intensity: 110 Years in the Making,” the milestone will also be highlighted at this year’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and other significant events in important Aston Martin territories.

The arrival of the first of a much-anticipated new generation of sports cars in 2023, which will further emphasize Aston Martin’s concentration on ultra-luxury, high performance, and driving intensity, is expected to be a watershed moment for the company.
